Job Description

General Summary:

The Junior Producer (JP) supports production workflow steps, and assists Producers or Senior Producers on more complex project work. The JP will learn from their Producer leads how to partner with other teams, including Strategy, XD, BA, Creative, Account, Art Studio and Platform/Technology teams, and how to follow the production processes that result in high-quality delivery of the work. Responsibilities include helping Producers to manage project schedules, financial information, project deliverables and internal stakeholders. The Junior Producer will learn how to navigate platform tools and software, and expand their understanding of the limitations and possibilities of the medium.

Day to Day:

Product Delivery

  • Help define project scope and budget (with Account). Maintain accountability to the project’s realistic scope, timing and budget as project requirements evolve.

  • Project administration/tool set-up, resource gathering, participate in kickoff meetings.

  • Learn and follow various project management approaches, including Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall.

  • Follow up on project schedules or sprint plans; communicate deliverable timing to stakeholders and hold them accountable.

  • Support portions of internal project-related communications related to status, issues, decisions, dependencies. Contribute in status meetings. Update Confluence documentation. Create process documentation as needed.

  • Support financial management of projects, including estimate creation (labor and material costs), billable labor hour tracking, PO/Invoices, and job closure at project completion.

  • Partner closely with Creative teams and manage creative deliverables (content strategy, wireframes, design comps, etc.).

  • Deliverable routing (copy, design, assets) through Proofreading, Product Insights, Business Affairs, Digital Asset Management and internal Legal teams. (Account handles client-side deliverable routing.)

  • Prep creative deliverables (copy, images, videos) for Content Authors.

  • Support Content Authoring tasks and assist with content QA.

  • Partner with internal teams for Multimedia tasks (audio/video edits).

  • Create Jira tickets for Art Studio tasks (asset prep, retouching).

  • Create Jira tickets for Content Authoring tasks.

  • Assist with web page reviews/feedback, bug resolution (code or content).

  • Wrap-up project closure tasks; archive project documentation.

  • Escalate any critical project or client challenges to the Producer or Senior Producer.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of production experience in advertising or related business is required. Experience with similar client accounts is preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Skills and Abilities: The candidate must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and possess strong interpersonal and management skills. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, and an aptitude for accuracy and detail. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work with various internal stakeholders while balancing and prioritizing client demands.
