Paramount Manager, People, Culture & Engagement in Los Angeles, California

Overview & Responsibilities:

Paramount Pictures is on the lookout for an imaginative, experienced HR Manager who is passionate about fostering connections and building a vibrant workplace culture. In this role, you'll lead all aspects of our employee-centered initiatives including celebrations, screenings, and activations on our historical Paramount Studios lot, as well as offices around the world. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and implement employee engagement events, including new hire orientation, monthly employment engagement events (including development of concept/theme, budget management, and coordinating logistics) and ensure all aspects of the event run efficiently.

  • Build and maintain relations with external non-profit, corporate, and philanthropic foundation partners in allied issue spaces;

  • Serve as a key member of the planning team for large-scale employee movie screenings including managing entry/event logistics and supporting employee communications.

  • Partner with the Office of Global Inclusion, the Nick Inclusivity Council, Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, and the Project Action teams to build and manage employee engagement activations that foster a company culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging and further enrich Paramounts culture.

  • Build strong internal networks and drive employee engagement, communication, and leadership. Responsible for chairing the Social Committee for Filmed Entertainment.

  • Manage and distribute company-wide, internal communications and intranet content for Paramount Human Resources and Paramount People and Culture.

  • Build and track the People and Culture annual operating budget. Plan and develop an operating budget (IOP) for the following fiscal year. Manage HR Department P-Card and prepare, submit, and file T&E reports.

  • Manage internal relationships and leverage key partnerships to develop seamless employee experiences that build cohesion across Paramount Global.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in broad and dynamic HR management or advising experience in or with organizations recognized for best HR practices

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications (or related) preferred, and/or equivalent work experience in Internal Communications/PR, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

  • An enthusiastic learner who is reliable and willing to pitch in at a moment's notice on a range of tasks.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 123,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
