Description
A Regional Medical Group is seeking a highly organized, Medical Front Office Receptionist for the medical practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient service skills, ability to manage patient scheduling, adeptness at handling patient, and an understanding of administrative tasks in a healthcare setting. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients and visitors to the facility.
Scheduling, rescheduling or canceling appointments as per patient's needs.
Collecting and verifying patient data and documentation, including insurance details.
Facilitating effective communication between medical staff and Spanish-speaking patients.
Collecting copays and handling billing queries as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
Demonstrable experience in healthcare setting; previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferable.
Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.
Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems.
Strong organizational and customer service skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
