Are you fluent in Spanish and experienced in processing external referrals? We are seeking a dedicated Referral Coordinator to join our Internal Medicine team in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. Position Details:
Position: Referral Coordinator
Pay: $21/hour
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90015
Company: Internal Medicine
Placement: 6-month contract-to-hire (with benefits)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm OR 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
External Referrals:Help and assist with external referrals, ensuring all necessary steps are completed.
Referral Requests:Submit referral requests to the proper IPA (Independent Practice Association).
Insurance Verification:Ensure that insurance is verified for patients to see specialists outside of the clinic.
Appointment Scheduling:Schedule specialist appointments and verify that patients attend these appointments.
Reporting:Submit necessary reports and process 20-40 referrals daily.
Insurance Knowledge:Have a thorough understanding of different types of insurance.
Requirements:
Primary Goal: Assist with the referrals process by submitting referrals to the proper IPA, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, ensuring patients attend their appointments, contacting specialists, and submitting reports. This role requires handling 20-40 referrals per day in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high quality of customer service.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
