We’re looking for a Producer to join team Snap! As a part of Creative + Marketing’s Production team, you’ll play a key role in managing and producing workstreams to create a wide variety of content spanning the breadth of Snap’s products and services. Working from our Santa Monica, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate complex brand needs and ensure work is produced efficiently and executed to the highest creative standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee film & video, print & Out of Home, digital & photography production workstreams, incorporating needs and requests of other teams and adjusting production strategies as needed.

  • Produce a range of content and various types of assets for multiple concurrent marketing projects.

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Producer and Head of Production on critical items and milestones throughout the lifecycle of a production

  • Manage talent relationships (in front of and behind the camera), production schedules pertaining to assigned projects, locations, logistics, insurance, legal and all that comes with day-to-day commercial-style production

  • Establish, manage, and clearly communicate overall timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs related to production

  • Ensure the successful delivery of all assigned projects, on time and within budget.

  • Communicate production processes and best practices, while continually seeking improvements to drive efficiencies in production and budget

  • Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivering against asks while creating an environment that allows for innovation

  • Advise business affairs, legal, brand managers and creative teams during the concept development stage on production concerns, timing, costs and execution approaches in order to deliver the highest quality work for the most efficient timeline and budget

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with outside creative partners, including production companies, editors, illustrators, VFX & finishing, audio houses, casting and talent agents, and supplier reps

  • Monitor all internal and external costs for projects, as well as relationships with vendors, artists, the internal Snap creative team, business affairs, legal, and stakeholders

  • Contribute towards driving impact and innovation for Snap Inc., the C+M organization and the production team, outside of tactical day-to-day production tasks

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Depth of knowledge and experience with producing a wide variety of assets for use in live action, digital, motion, social, print, OOH and web

  • Strategic thinking and ability to solve problems independently

  • Strong knowledge of industry production contracts and the ability to negotiate terms independently, as well as seek guidance from legal and business affairs when necessary

  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot communication, logistical, and scheduling challenges

  • Ability to navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately, and mitigate associated challenges

  • Disciplined approach to managing projects, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt when adjustments are required

  • Experience working in partnership with both junior and senior creative team members to bring ideas to life

  • Extensive knowledge of current industry trends, best in class suppliers, and standard rates for a wide array of production executions

  • Experience being a face of creative production to external vendors and key internal stakeholders

  • An understanding of the impacts of production decisions on both creative output and business results

  • Experienced at managing expectations, with the ability to identify and articulate alternative solutions when changes arise

  • Easily identify key stakeholders and facilitate seamless communications, both written and verbal, between parties

  • Will prioritize multiple deliverables while maintaining the integrity of the whole project within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Ability to mentor and coach junior production team members in the areas of production best practices, industry knowledge, bidding and negotiations, deliverables, costs, timing, and supplier knowledge

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of producing experience within an ad agency and/or internal creative department in a marketing organization

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $104,000-$156,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $99,000-$148,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $88,000-$133,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
