Overview
In this position, you will work closely with clients to establish solutions
to make them successful, broaden the effect of GIS technology to their
business, and help shape the evolution of the platform by identifying new
implementation patterns. You will provide solutions and thought leadership
while promoting the use of Esri technology to enable customer success and
support its development and growth into new domains by working closely with
industry experts throughout the company.
This team supports our Utilities clients. You will be part of a talented
cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate Technical Consultants to
deliver solutions that enable our customers to make a difference in
communities around the world. You will be part of a delivery team that
implements critical technologies that improve quality, reliability and
accessibility to data and geospatial capabilities.
The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of
Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and
ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients
worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly
1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to
help our users be successful.
Responsibilities
Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify
key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
Provide platform configuration services, guidance and best practices to
customers
Work independently and as a team to execute project tasks, deliver
services, and implement solutions
Grow expertise in broad range of ArcGIS software components and business
contexts
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting
similar responsibilities
Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating
enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform
(desktop, server, and on-line)
Advanced ArcGIS Platform Configuration skills
Advanced Programming and scripting experience with Python and arcade
Experience with current technology implementation patterns including
service-oriented architecture and cloud technologies
Knowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network data
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic
Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
Recommended Qualifications
Configuring and implementing the Utility Network for Utility customers
Knowledge of ArcGIS applied to electric/gas facility management
(AM/FM) such as right-of-way corridor planning engineering, design
construction, inspection, network analysis, integration with other
systems, and market analysis
Experience in the integration of ArcGIS with work management, network
analysis, OMS, customer information, and document management systems
Practical experience with JavaScript/typescript, and HTML5
Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information
Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
