Masen, a Koch owned and operated environmental IoT services startup, is
seeking a Project Engineer focused on project management of new IoT projects.
Masen is looking for a passionate individual excited about new IoT
technologies and willing to take on a variety of general engineering tasks.
This role will manage the intake and execution of engineering deliverables
related to environmental IoT projects being deployed across the country.
The project engineer will report to the Technology Director and work on the
Product Technology team to support and develop IoT solutions to meet the use
case requirements identified by the operations team.
Location for this role is Louisville, Colorado.
Our Team
Masen helps industrial operators implement and manage automated environmental
data collection infrastructure. Masen curates & installs the IoT devices,
connects them to the cloud through various communication protocols,
visualizes the data to generate insights, and provides ongoing maintenance
and support of the field hardware. This enables our customers to create
competitive advantage and maximize operational efficiency through data driven

What You Will Do
Product Approach: As a startup, Masen is a small team, and this Project
Engineer position will be responsible for a multitude of engineering
deliverables including CAD drawings, BOMs, and schedules. After a
customer order is received the project engineer will select known product
solution kits and coordinate the procurement and assembly of the kits for on
time delivery to Masen field installation teams.
Responsibilities include...
Creation of CAD drawings for enclosure layouts, electrical schematics, and
network diagrams
Coordination with panel shop / support for execution of enclosure builds
Development of BOM's for new and unique use cases
Development of purchase requisitions for material and components
Review and share BOMs and purchase reqs with product and operations leaders
Refinement of enclosure and device label design
Design of approach to generic and serialized labels for simple and efficient
production and application
Support low quantity in-house enclosure assembly
Support logistics and inventory control; receiving product, allocation /
assortment, and prep for shipping
Order fulfillment support; packing and shipping
Development of work instructions for various types of work to make frequent
tasks more repeatable without mistakes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Project Management experience within an engineering team
Demonstrated experience in CAD
Experience in developing and maintaining Bills of Materials in MRP systems
Comfortable working with hand tools and small assembly tasks
What Will Put You Ahead
AutoCAD Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical experience
Basic Electrical knowledge and control panel wiring practices
Inventory control and supply chain management experience
Knowledge and experience with industrial applications and industrial
manufacturing
B.S. in a STEM field or adequate work experience
Previous experience supporting customers
Experience with Industrial IoT Sensors or environmental data monitors and
sensors
Willing to travel (up to 20%) on short notice to industrial sites,
vendors, and partners
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
