Bilingual Production Supervisor

Job Description

This position supervises the performance of the entire second shift production staff and supporting departments’ staff ensuring safe, efficient processing of product while meeting quantitative and qualitative standards for production output, health and safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), sanitation, product quality, and any related functions with general supervision, guidance, and instruction from the Production Supervisor or other Management, as required.

Hard Skills

  • Resource planning and execution of production schedule

  • Overseeing all production functions

  • Planning, assigning, and directing work to the labor force

  • Monitoring product quality issues and coordinating appropriate actions

  • Monitoring personnel compliance to all HACCP critical control points (CCPs)

  • Monitoring plant sanitation processes

  • Monitoring personnel practices for GMP compliance

  • Monitoring personnel compliance to all policies and procedures

Soft Skills

  • Coaching and developing staff

  • Suggesting and implementing improvement ideas

  • Coordinating the exchange of vital information between shifts

  • Making sound decisions when standards are not established

  • First aid training and acting as first-responder

  • Spanish language would be a plus!!

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky- 40299

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and have exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
