Job Title: Preconstruction ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to oversee the planning of construction projects before building begins. The ideal candidate will estimate costs, participate in design decisions, conduct evaluations, studies, and value engineering analyses, and perform constructability reviews. The role requires collaboration and coordination with clients from project conception to award, and a seamless handoff to the project manager once construction begins.
Responsibilities
Estimate costs of construction projects
Participate in design decisions, evaluations, studies, and value engineering analyses
Perform scheduling and constructability reviews
Collaborate and coordinate with clients from project conception to award
Partner with the Business Development team to help win niche projects
Negotiate construction services for projects
Essential Skills
10+ years of Business Operations experience in a general contracting or similar industry
Bachelor’s degree
Analytical skills with strong computer proficiency
Excellent communication skills
Proven history of results in general construction contracting
Ability to travel as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in preconstruction
Commercial construction knowledge
Operations management
Business operations and estimating skills
Client-facing experience
Work Environment
This position is onsite in the newly renovated Louisville office. The team consists of a VP of Estimating, three estimators in Louisville, and one in Dallas. Travel to customer sites is required as necessary, with less than 10% travel anticipated. This opportunity offers a vehicle allowance and eligibility for bonuses. The firm has a reputable and growing presence across the country, working in both industrial and commercial industries, providing a wide variety of projects to engage with.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
Vehicle Allowance monthly- $600Bonus eligible- based on employee and company performance Medical, Vision and dental
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Louisville,KY.
