Description
Have you ever ordered a product on Amazon and when that box with the smile arrived, wondered how it got to you so fast? Wondered where it came from and how much it cost Amazon? If so, the Amazon Global Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) organization is for you. SCOT operates on the bleeding edge of supply chain thought leadership and works on the most difficult problems in the industry. To maintain Amazon’s leadership in the industry, SCOT fosters continuous improvement, advocating game-changing ideas that create ever more intelligent and self-learning systems to maximize the efficiency, automation and scale of Amazon's massive supply chain operation.
SCOT’s EU Automated Inventory Management (AIM) team owns the management of Amazon’s inventory investment and key business outcomes. We are the ones who are looking around the corners to connect the dots that no one is thinking about yet and then driving those insights into tangible results. If you'd like to help us build on Amazon’s experience where you can find and buy anything online and have it delivered fast, this is your chance to make history.
The SCOT Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager (FM) to support the EU AIM team with focus on driving improvements in inventory outcomes, starting from the customer experience and stopping at cost optimization. This role will support a growing business organization responsible for automating the inventory management function, taking over responsibility for day-to-day running of inventory outputs, audit functions, and key performance indicators used across Amazon to manage inventory and delight customers.
This is an opportunity to establish and improve the metrics, mechanisms, and operating parameters that effectively monitor, report and manage Amazon’s worldwide inventory position and future decisions. In this role, you will interact with cross-functional teams across the company and act as a key partner in analyzing, defining, and building improvements in automated inventory management capabilities and customer experience at Amazon.
