Job Title: Yard Worker
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Yard Worker to join our team. This role involves working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging to manage our inventory and load/unload trucks. This is an outdoor position requiring strong materials handling skills.
Responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Check, sort, and count incoming material.
Assist in preparing warehouse operations for upcoming growth.
Appropriately label shelves, parts, and bins.
Move material from the receiving area throughout the facility.
Assist warehouse team with the movement of raw materials to correct storage/staging locations.
Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, and monthly as needed.
Count, weigh, and record the number of units of material.
Load/unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
Unload trucks as necessary.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to department lead.
Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills
Experience with overhead cranes.
Forklift certification and operation experience.
Experience in yard work and outdoor working conditions.
Heavy rigging experience, including loading and unloading semi-trucks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, working from 3 pm to 2 am with 10-15 hours of mandatory overtime. A 15% shift differential is available on the 3rd shift. The work environment can be hot in the summer, but we keep the doors open for ventilation. The facility is clean, and all necessary tools will be provided. Safety is a top priority in our workplace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.70/hr.
