APPOINTMENT: May 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES :Western Illinois University seeks a Head Women\'s
Bowling Coach in Macomb, IL. The women\'s bowling head coach is
responsible for leading all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division I
women\'s bowling program including, but not limited to: budget
management, recruiting, fundraising, supervision of staff, a commitment
to student-athlete health and welfare, and directing skill instruction
and development. Fully commit to all NCAA, The Ohio Valley Conference,
and Western Illinois University Athletics Department policies and
procedures, and work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus
units.
RANK & SALARY: Negotiable, commensurate with experience. Western

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor\'s Degree.
- Proven record of success in coaching bowling at the collegiate
level.
- Proven record of successful recruitment of college-level
academically and athletically prepared student-athletes.
- Progressive experience in managing the diverse administrative
responsibilities attendant to an intercollegiate bowling program,
including effective budget management, travel planning, and
scheduling.
- Proven record of adherence to NCAA compliance regulations.
- Proven record of promoting a culture among student-athletes that
values academic excellence and student-athlete health and welfare.
- Valid driver\'s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master\'s degree.
- Experience coaching bowling at the NCAA DI or DII level.
For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally
accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or
equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise
stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
