Abbott National Key Account Manager - Banners and Wholesalers in Macquarie Park, Australia

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Key Account Manager (Banners and Wholesalers) for our Abbott Nutrition business to manage a pharmacy banner and wholesaler groups and associated key accounts.

For the right candidate, this role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

The purpose of your role is (and not limited to):

  • Drive growth of Abbott Nutrition products through the development of strategic partnerships with key banner groups and wholesalers and retailer partners that build long term and sustainable business partnerships with strategically important accounts, as well as boosting brand loyalty and advocacy

  • Develop and execute retailer and wholesaler promotional plans with key Abbott customers

  • Develop a deep understanding and relationship of all National Key Account stakeholders and decision makers at the executive level to develop strategy and concise engagement plans for key accounts

  • Gain new business and grow existing business through building confidence in and loyalty to Abbott Nutrition products

  • Provide guidance and insight into National accounts and where opportunities and obligations lie

  • Drive growth with key wholesale and retail partners in the Pacific Islands

Who we’re looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business

  • Sales experience within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry is essential

  • Experience working strategically with wholesalers, banners and distributors

  • Experience liaising with Retail team RSM and driving retail team KPI’s

  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with strong ability to influence and negotiate at all levels

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

  • Experience managing key Pacific Islands wholesaler and retailers is highly desirable

  • Flexibility for interstate travel

Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
