JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Radiology, University
of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a
full-time fellowship trained breast imaging radiologist, interested in
pursuing an academic career in breast imaging, to join our collaborative
team of breast imagers at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full
Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track or CT (Clinician
Teacher) Track. The successful candidate will have excellent
communication skills and function as a team player within the group of
breast radiologists providing breast screening, diagnostic and
procedural imaging services across UW Health. The UW Health Breast
Center treats over 700 new breast cancer patients yearly and is
accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
Breast imaging radiologists work side by side with an excellent,
collaborative team of breast surgeons in the Breast Center.
Multidisciplinary tumor board and radiology-pathology correlation
conferences occur weekly. A new state of the art outpatient clinic with
integrated breast imaging and breast clinical care is planned to open in
2025, expanding our multi-disciplinary practice. The breast imaging
section in the UW Department of Radiology trains three breast imaging
fellows and many residents on an annual basis. As a public employee, the
hired faculty member will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System
which includes pension benefits and malpractice coverage. This position

Responsibilities: CHS Track - The candidate filling this position will
be specifically chosen for their expertise and fellowship training in
breast imaging. The duties include breast imaging, including
mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image-guided localizations,
and image-guided breast biopsies, and scholarly activity in
administration/ operations, education and research. The successful
candidate is expected to develop areas of interest. Departmental
