Building Performance Consultant II in our Madison office, you will help
us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions,
save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Responsibilities Here\'s why we need you: In this role, you will support
the high performance design process through analysis of high performance
design strategies and concepts, primarily through performance modeling;
develop and optimize analytical tools and processes to provide timely,
design-relevant insight to internal design teams, partners and clients.
You will interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design
as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field
surveys, and code research. Qualifications Expertise of our most
successful Building Performance Consultant II: Bachelor\'s degree in
mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (or another
engineering discipline) from an accredited program; or commensurate
degree and experience with building systems. Advanced understanding of
building systems across disciplines and proven experience in at least
one discipline such as HVAC, plumbing/piping, electrical, lighting,
instrumentation and controls, or building envelope systems. Advanced
understanding of major tenets of high performance design including
renewable and alternative energy strategies, daylighting, embodied
energy, indoor environmental quality, material composition, water
efficiency, life cycle assessment, and built environment planning.
Ability to use at least one building system simulation tool, including
EnergyPlus, IES-VE, TRNSYS, DOE-2... For full info follow application
