join our 3rd shift facilities team! Facilities Technicians keep
University Housing spaces safe and clean for residents, staff, and
guests. They also assist in repairing small equipment and help to
troubleshoot maintenance issues. This is a great position for a night

leave! Responsibilities: Assists with facility and equipment inspection,
maintenance, and repairs to ensure property meets established standards
and to prevent further damage. Assists with construction, and meeting
and event preparation as needed. 30% Utilizes basic equipment to repair
and maintain basic machinery, equipment, and facility property under
close supervision to prevent further damage and ensure optimal operation
35% Assists with routine facility inspections and monitors cleanliness
10% Escalates and documents issues according to established policies and
procedures 5% Assists with inventory and distribution of deliveries to
appropriate entities under close supervision 15% Maintains and cleans
residence halls, dining facilities, and immediate surrounding grounds
and walkways. 5% Responds to and resolves urgent or emergency elevator,
mechanical, temperature, and safety issues in residence halls and dining
units. Tasks: Communicates in English via radio, phone, written
instructions, and in person with staff, residents, guests and
supervisors. Communicates with residents to address housing needs and
service requests. Completes work in occupied or vacant resident hall and
dining spaces. Demonstrates and role models exceptional customer
service. Maintains and implements prescribed cleaning standards.
