JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview MSA has an opportunity for a Water Resources
Engineer based in our Madison, WI office on the Water Service Line.
While the ideal candidate will be in the Madison area, MSA will also
consider applications from candidates from our other 16 office
locations. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in,
projects from start to finish. The various projects you\'ll be working
on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.
This person will be engaged in preparation of studies and design plans
for water resources projects throughout the upper Midwest including
stormwater and floodplain management as well as stream, lake, and
wetland restoration projects. We serve a variety of state and local
municipalities as well as selected private sector clients. While we
often support other civil engineering disciplines, we are devoted to the
science and engineering of water resources. Ideal candidates will have a
thorough background in hydraulics, hydrology, and/or water quality
science and will be comfortable working in the regulatory environment.
The work you may do Assist with plans, specifications, and bidding
packages for construction projects Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and
water quality modeling for a variety of projects including: Municipal
stormwater management plans (drainage, flooding, water quality)
Restoration projects; wetlands, streams, lakes Technical report writing
GIS analyses and CADD design in support of water resources projects MSA
