JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The International Division and University
Housing seek a student-oriented Program Manager, with a keen interest in
the promotion of cultural and language learning, to join their team. The
ILC and HIPs Program manager is instrumental in helping to build a
strong sense of community of across three programs through: event
promotions and planning, program management, supporting cohorts of
incredibly motivated undergraduate students, and collaborating with
faculty and staff colleagues in the International Division and Language
Departments in Letters and Sciences. The three programs that the ILC &
HIPs Program Manager will work with include the International Learning
Community, the Wisconsin International Scholars Program, and the
King-Morgridge Scholars Program. The focus of the position is with the
ILC (60%), and with event planning/logistics and communications support
to the Wisconsin International Scholars and King-Morgridge Scholars
Programs (40%). This position is well suited for someone who thrives in
planning and promoting academically- and community-focused events with
curious and involved undergraduate students. Responsibilities: Oversees
the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities,
policies and/or processes in order to support student success in various
areas of student affairs. Works under broad, administrative direction
with significant responsibility for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Responds to inquiries from University departments, educational
institutions, the community, and/or external agencies. Strives to create
