JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Neurology at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is
seeking a tenure track neuro-oncologist interested in pursuing an
academic career and joining our expanding neuro-oncology program at UW
Hospital and Clinics and affiliated locations. This position would be
active in multi-disciplinary teams including neurology, medical
oncology, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, radiation oncology,
neuropsychology, neuropathology, and palliative medicine. SMPH is

research and teaching. The successful candidate would be involved in
neuro-oncology research. Candidate would participate in clinical
research conducted in the Department of Neurology and the UW Carbone
Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC). The candidate would have protected
time for developing independent, extramurally funded research programs.
Teaching responsibilities include teaching and mentoring of medical
students, residents, and fellows as well as teaching continuing
education programs for physicians and the public. Clinical activities
include outpatient clinics, inpatient and consult services at UW
Hospital, William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital or other
affiliated locations. The successful candidate will also participate in
professional, public, and university service appropriate to the rank and
in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and
scholarly missions of the School of Medicine and Public Health and UW
