Pepper Construction is a national general contracting and construction
management firm that primarily serves the private sector. Pepper
Construction provides clients the experience and resources of a national
company, combined with the hands-on approach of a local company. This
Project Coordinator will operate on-site in Pepper\'s growing Madison,
WI office, providing general office support and keeping business
operations and activities organized and on track. In addition, they will
perform a wide range of duties associated with a general contracting
construction project from start to close out. The ideal candidate takes
initiative, enjoys wearing many hats in the office with limited
supervision, and is willing and able to visit Milwaukee periodically.
Skills & Qualifications Commitment to customer service for both internal
and external customers/clients. Strong organizational skills,
detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight
deadlines. Flexibility and willingness to accommodate last-minute
requests in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal
communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all
organizational levels and departments. Ability to learn new software
quickly and take initiative with limited supervision. Ability to
maintain a positive outlook and willingness to overcome obstacles to
accomplish tasks. Ability to use discretion and judgment and maintain
confidentiality. Familiarity with construction processes, procedures,
and terminology. Solid understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications and other desktop software. High School diploma/GED.
College degree preferred. Prior experience working in construction or a
related field is preferred. Major Responsibilities Facilitate the
subcontractor bid process through effective use of all technology tools.
Administer and coordinate all documents associated with a project from
the initial bid process to project closeout. Able to utilize software
programs and templates to fit specific project needs, typically CMiC,
Plans & Specs, Bluebeam, ShareFile, and Outlook programs. Reprioritize
workload when project shifts, ensuring schedule and assignments are
clearly communicated to all necessary team members. Confidently
communicate with all project team members, including, but not limited
to, the Client, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractors, Project Managers,
and Field Personnel to coordinate and communicate project needs and...
