JOB REQUIREMENTS: MSA has an opportunity for a full time Project
Surveyor II to join our growing surveying team. This position can be
based out of the following office locations: Baraboo, WI; Beaver Dam,
WI; or Madison, WI. This person will complete field (25%) and office
(75%) survey related duties accurately and on time for internal and
external clients. We offer project exposure to a variety of DOT,
municipal and private projects. The work you will do Determine property
boundary and right-of-way corridor locations Draft, sign and seal survey
maps Perform office functions including: data reduction/computations,
digital terrain modeling/surface creation, survey map preparation,
quality control, and communication. Perform project management functions
including; estimating, scoping, research, scheduling, mentoring staff,
quality control, filing and organizing projects. Assist with
right-of-way and transportation project plats (TPP\'s). Gather field
data necessary for: boundary retracement, platting land divisions,
topographic mapping, establish horizontal and vertical control, right of
way location, and utility locations to be used in preparation of survey
maps, and engineering plans/specifications. Bridge and hydraulic surveys
of river and stream channels. Topographic surveys of municipality, state
and county highways including drainage and safety features along them
(beam guard, culverts, etc.). Assist in municipal plan preparation,
construction observation, and staking Communicate clearly with: clients,

Experience: An associate\'s degree in surveying, civil engineering
technology, or related degree is required A valid driver\'s license is
required 5+ years of prior surveying experience required Professional
Land Surveyor license required (WI preferred) Previous WisDOT or MnDOT
experience preferred Commercial, residential, ALTA/NSPS, local
government boundary and topographic survey experience required Previous
experience with municipal infrastructure projects and construction
staking required Previous experience with Auto Cad, Civil 3D, or Trimble
Business Center Basic is required Prior experience with GIS is preferred
