JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN Ambulatory Wound Clinic 70%FTE, Day - 1 S Park / University Hospital - 13005 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: * Utilize evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. * Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers. Work Schedule: This is a Day shift position and includes eight (8) hour shifts, Monday - Friday; 8AM - 5PM. This position has three days off every two weeks. No weekends and no holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. CPR/BLS Certification. Preferred Applicable clinical certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: * Knowledge and experience documenting patient care in an electronic medical record. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. * Ability to make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgements. * Ability to educate staff. * Ability to provide counseling and emotional support with compassion and respect for the individual. * Ability to provide support to the members of the care team (teamwork). * Must possess initiative and ability to work indepdendently. * Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records.
