JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to start immediately for a medical equipment manufacturer. Shipping and receiving experience (domestic) and knowledge of shipping software are required, international shipping/receiving experience is preferred. Highlights: - Temporary, 2-3 months in duration - Pay Rate: \$19/hr - Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm - State-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility - Located in Madison, WI! Responsibilities: Shipping - Accurately and efficiently ship all available products - Scrutinize invoices and packing lists, extract necessary items, and validate their accuracy, including part and lot numbers - FIFO order inventory picking - Utilize UPS/Fedex/DHL software for shipments - Ship and confirm shipments using Clipper Ship and Oracle software - File all shipping documents at the end of the day - Provide information to carriers regarding shipments - Issue call tags as required - Complete international shipping paperwork Receiving - Incoming package intake - Carefully inspect all incoming packages and reject damaged or unacceptable product - Enter receipts into Excel, Oracle, or Dynamics ERP system - Inform QA of all products requiring inspection - Label all packaging lists and invoices received with the date and your initials - Coordinate with Procurement on purchase order discrepancies - As required, deliver packages and mail Other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent degree - Shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic shipping software - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently - Well-organized and high attention to detail - Familiarity with FDA and GMPs preferred - Certification on \"Dangerous Good\" preferred ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://www.spherion.com/jobs/shipping-receiving-clerkmadison43653906/ This position is listed by a private employment agency.
