Provide consulting services to PSE clients for a wide range of
engineering projects, including electrical utility transmission planning
and studies; generation interconnection studies, modeling, and
conceptual design; and utility-scale renewable energy resource-focused
design and analysis. What You Will Be Doing: Core Values: Embrace,

and Progress With the support of PSE colleagues, perform transmission
studies, including planning studies, stability studies, generator
interconnection studies, and material modification studies. Provide
and/or assist with generator interconnection support, including
preliminary project design. Perform transmission system modeling
analysis utilizing engineering analysis software. Assist with PSCAD
modeling support for generator projects. Assist on distribution studies
as needed. Provide day-to-day operations support to PSE clients. What
You Will Need: A bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or a
related field is required. 10+ years of experience in consulting,
utility, or ISO/RTO environments is preferred. Working knowledge of
computer software, including PSS/E, MS Excel, and MS Word, is required.
Basic knowledge of applicable NERC, IEEE, NEC, and ANSI standards and
electric codes is highly preferred. Knowledge of additional power
engineering software programs, including PSCAD, PSLF, TSAT, and TARA, is
a plus. Basic knowledge of electric utility systems and wiring and
schematic diagrams is a plus. Possess the ability to achieve quality
results, be change-oriented, foster innovation, and be a continuous
learner. Use effective communication skills (both written and oral), be
