Summary of Internship
Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment
Functions:
• Effective project management adhering to established timelines
• Assist in developing engaging and educational content for various marketing channels, including website, social media platforms, and promotional materials
• Maintain PowerBI and provide reporting support for the system and users
• Perform ad hoc analysis of sales activation and demand generation metrics to assess efficiency and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of pricing models and tools to streamline pricing processes
• Support the execution and data integrity of strategic projects
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as organizing meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases
Keys to Success:
Education / Qualifications:
• Student currently studying a Science, Business or Marketing Bachelor’s degree
• Students required to complete a 6 – 12 month internship
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software and tools.
Experience:
• No previous experience required
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Ability to learn on the job and take own initiative to drive projects and tasks forward
• Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position
• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required
