Job Description
Provide Hardware and Cable Engineering Support as needed, to include: Hardware Standup, Hardware movement to support new system configurations, troubleshoot and repair/replace defective hardware, assist with hardware testing and reviews. Will be responsible for rack set up and deployment, troubleshooting Laptop and PC hardware issues, and powering up, installing, and configuring Linux OS to new devices.

Skills and Requirements
-Must have a minimum of a DOD Interim Secret Clearance
-Demonstrated Hardware and Cabling related skills and abilities in maintaining lab hardware.
-Hands on experience with cabling, patching, and toning ports
-Experience with running cable and doing server rack set up and deployments.
-Experienced with Power/Grounding Systems including load leveling or load balancing
-Basic knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems
-Strong Experience with Internal Cabling and Racking/Stacking Servers
-Using Garret pullers to hoist heavy racks.
-Experience Running and Tracing Cable Lines
-Experience working with Media converters.
-Experience with Induction & Barcoding
-Using Confluence/Jira to track tickets -Familiarity in laboratory working conditions is a plus
-Experienced with Linux OS is a plus
-Experienced with installing Fiber Optic Cables is a plus null
