Job Brief: We are looking for Skilled Culinary professionals to join our
production team at our recently renovated central kitchen! A central
kitchen culinary production team member is responsible for food
preparation, cooking and cleaning kitchen area and equipment. If you
enjoy cooking and have a desire to help provide scratch made nutritious
meals to our future, and are a team player, this is the job for you!
Location: District Central Kitchen located at 1112 Hayes Drive Manhattan
Kansas. Salary: \$14-\$16.50 per hour. Hours Per Day: May be open to
some flexibility but are approximately the following: 7am-2pm Monday-
Friday (a set schedule with no weekends, evenings or holidays). Days Per
Year: Position available during the regular school year. Option for 12
month employment. Reports To: Chef/Culinary Trainer Benefits: Health,
vision, and dental insurance options available for employees working 30+
hours/week. Value of contributions per year- \$7,320. USD 383 makes
monthly contributions to a 403(b)-retirement account for all certified
and eligible employees. Retirement Plan options are available for
employees working at least 17.5 hours/week. Short-term disability
options are available for employees working at least 17.5 hours/week.
Paid leave. No nights no weekends! School year calendar work schedule
option- be off on days your student is off. Pay increases available with
