About This Role:\
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST, which is a full-time, hourly,
benefits-eligible position.\
\
An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:
- Configuration Management: Set up and maintain technology systems,
ensuring they are properly configured for optimal performance and
security
- User Support: Provide technical assistance to users, troubleshooting
hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Access Control: Manage user access to systems, applications, and
data, implementing security protocols and permissions
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related
problems to ensure smooth operations
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on computer
hardware and peripherals
- Software Installation and Updates: Install and configure software
applications, ensuring compatibility and security
- User Education: Assist users in understanding technology best
practices and promote a productive computing environment
- Business as Usual (BAU) Operations: Ensure the continuous
availability and reliability of critical systems

What You\'ll Need to Succeed:\
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and one year of r levant work experience supporting
computer hardware, software, and Apple iPhones
Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, along
with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in team environments\
\
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s Degree in a computer-related field is preferred.
Alternatively, an Associate of Science Degree with a focus on computer
science, complemented by two years of relevant experience may be
considered equivalent to a Bachelor\'s Degree
CompTIA A+ certification will be given preference\
\
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at
the time of employment.
Ability to successfully lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required, and be on-call
for emergencies as needed
Must have a valid driver\'s license at all times\
\
