Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Danfoss Power Electronics & Drives (DPD ) business, with a strong focus on the Heavy Industry and Electrification market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships to achieve both short- and long-term targets.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Responsible for local management for direct channel expansion, direct business development, and partner enhancement activities of the Danfoss Total Solutions Provider.

  • Responsible for heavy industries hotspots for project pipeline management (including water & wastewater, chemical, oil & gas, marine & offshore, pulp & paper, steel & metal and mining) in Visayas and Mindanao

  • Responsible for astute Financial & Operational Planning to drive business decision in achieving profitability

  • Business Development in all aspects of company's sales, spare parts & service business.

  • Deliver strong and consistent customer service

  • People leadership & development across all functions

  • Maintain and develop customer loyalty and satisfaction

  • Compliance with legal statutes & company standards.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent. MBA qualification will have an added advantage

  • Minimum 10 years of Direct Heavy Industrial Sector experience or similar fields of work

  • Proven track record in sales and project pipeline sales management

  • Materials Handling Industry specific sales experience would be an added advantage

  • Motor controller experience will be required

  • Strong business acumen and strategy deployment with communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong leadership and change management skills

  • Fluency in English, and preferably speak the local dialect (Visayan Dialect) with effective presentation skills & proficient in Microsoft Office applications
