Robert Half Supply Chain Manager in Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Description We are in search of a Supply Chain Manager to become part of our team. This position is based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States. The role will revolve around managing our supply chain processes, purchasing, production control, and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Formulating the strategy for the company's supply chain

• Analyzing shipping and delivery data to identify potential bottlenecks and issues

• Monitoring logistics to ensure smooth operations

• Overseeing supply chain inventory and maintaining accurate records

• Implementing effective inventory control methods and production scheduling

• Assessing business supplies and raw material levels to prevent shortages

• Ensuring adequate product stock to meet customer demands

• Finding cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes

• Developing product forecasts and determining strategies

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors

• Addressing and resolving issues like delivery delays or accidents

• Collaborating with other departments to formulate coordinated plans for business growth

• Ensuring all supply chain processes adhere to legal requirements and standards

• Guiding and training employees

• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure profitable deals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Management role or similar

• Proficient in using CRM and ERP solutions to manage supply chain operations

• Strong understanding of the logistics and manufacturing industry

• Proven track record in project management and KPI reporting

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Experience in using SAP and AS400 systems

• Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies

• Experience in production control and scheduling

• Comfortable working with raw material inventory

• Proven leadership skills with experience in leading team meetings and nurturing team development

• Knowledgeable about the specific demands and nuances of supply chain logistics.
