This position will reside onsite (in a hybrid model) at a US-based Medtronic facility.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develop / execute program strategy and tactical risk management activities for OUs within scope, specifically:
Provide leadership and guidance on business programs, manage complex compliance issues, analyze alternatives and work with key stakeholders to develop and implement solutions
Execute on culture and training / communications initiatives, including creation of OU annual culture and training plans and oversight of key deliverables (e.g., live training delivery, ethical culture planning, ethics circle execution)
Guide on complex remediation follow-ups (e.g., Investigations, off label, monitoring), including guidance on remediation plan (as needed) and implementation of remediation activities (final say on “how”)
Foster strategic partnerships with multiple key internal and external high-level stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure deliverables are met.
Understand and collaborate on a wide range of competing global business priorities, complex market challenges, and tailor risk-based compliance solutions accordingly.
Establish and maintain external relationships (e.g. interface with other company Compliance Officers)
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of health law, healthcare compliance orregulatory experience; or, an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
Nice to Have
Previous Medtronic experience
Law Degree or other professional experience understanding legal and regulatory requirements
Healthcare, Medtech orMedical Device experience

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
