You will tap into your broad business experience to implement business and operational strategies to enable the short and long term objectives of the division that ensure the attainment of the PSD annual operating plan and strategy. You will help build out the PSD operating system so that teams can performance manage elements of the PSD P&L that lead to increased profitability.Lead the run the business pillar for PSD operating system including:Oversee cross functional business planning process aligning supply and demand forecastsEnsure critical sales operations metrics performance align and deliver the operating planManage the operational aspect of Service and paid training offerings to meet annual objectivesManage capital portfolio to ensure attainment of key milestones and financial metricsPartner with PSD Strategy and Business Development Leader to operationalize annual strategic planTranslate PSD strategy to annual operating objectives, KPIs and functional bowlers used manage PSD operational performanceLead DOC operating mechanisms to achieve monthly division level performance targets, including kaizen events for timely issue resolutionBuild and lead a process to create new capabilities necessary to meet mid to long term strategic objectives using lean management toolkitLead and coordinate operational improvement programs across the Division, resulting in delivery of annual productivity targets and achievement of annual operating planCoach teams and leaders on strategies to improve commercial operational performanceConduct kaizen events across the division to close performance gaps in a timely mannerYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFifteen (15) years of business management experience in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years of operational experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:MBA or other relevant advanced degree from an accredited institutionBusiness management experience leading large commercial organizationsManufacturing, logistics and supply chain, sales operation or marketing operations experienceAction-oriented, with emphasis on execution and resultsAbility to manage projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problemsProven track record in providing novel and innovative solutions to complex or difficult strategic issuesMust be able to collaborate and influence senior executives and handle high-pressure settings with confidenceHands-on, self-starter, team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexibleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills, including solid understanding of financial and statistical analysis. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
