Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a Tax Provision Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Providing insight and guidance on ASC 740 income tax accounting, collaborating with diverse global tax and finance teams, along with external auditors, to ensure compliance of Income Tax reporting and effective tax quarter close processes.Analyzing drivers of 3M's effective tax rate in a dynamic environment and educating key stakeholders.Researching, analyzing, and interpreting existing and proposed guidance with respect to income tax accounting, and identifying the practical implications for the company.Actively engaging in open conversation with stakeholders in different disciplines, including FP&A, Treasury, and Investor Relations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of 3M income tax reporting in its financial statements and press releases.Partnering with tax and/or company personnel on special projects, expanding your network in and out of tax by driving prioritization and process improvements in tax accounting, and supervising and effectively coaching staff.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 7 years of combined experience in income tax and/or accounting in a public accounting firm and/or large, multi-entity corporationANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:7 years of ASC 740 Income tax accounting experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Advanced education or certification such as MBA, CPA, or MBTStrong interpersonal, written and communication skillsExperience leading others, globally and cross-functionallyAbility to meet deadlines, work under pressure and comfortable to manage an external teamWork location: RemoteTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
