Here’s the Gist:

In this role you will work closely with suppliers, process and equipment engineers, contractors and all of operations to ensure safe and timely equipment install and readiness for production at our new Mohawk Valley Fab.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Properly scope and plan budgets for new equipment acquisition, installs and upgrades.  This includes identifying support equipment, needed start-up materials, spares and other items associated with setting the equipment and the equipment team up for success.
  • Manage schedules to ensure materials arrive when needed, and installs occur and complete on time.  Work with suppliers, equipment install manager, facilities and multiple internal teams to maintain alignment.
  • Generate cut sheets to support install design packages and TUM management.
  • Establish working relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving.
  • Generate documentation as needed.  Tool acceptance documents, Build specs, LOTO, training documents, work procedures, preventative maintenance and more.
  • Work with process engineering to scope and execute demos with suppliers to validate equipment readiness and scope development activities as needed.
  • Work with automation and equipment integration teams to verify both OHT and SEC/GEM compliance.
  • Assist Equipment Maintenance team as requested to troubleshoot and diagnose hard down issues or specific projects that require additional assistance.
  • Mentor and lead or assist with training efforts for equipment staff.
  • Present technical data and project updates to peers and management in both casual and formal environment. 
  • Occasional travel to other Wolfspeed or Supplier sites to assist in with equipment transfer or source inspection activities.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to ensure crisp execution on projects with high efficiency and quality.

  

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
  • 5 or more years’ experience working in a semiconductor environment
  • Working knowledge and experience with equipment installation through start-up and qualification.
  • Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment in Fabrication
  • Proficient at technical writing and presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$75,000.00 - $103,000.00
