Well Established Real Estate firm seeking an Accounting Manager

We are offering an opportunity in the thriving industry of real estate accounting, based in Marina Del Rey, California. The role involves managing and performing financial and administrative duties to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial reporting. As the Accounting Manager, you will be integral to delivering exceptional customer experience to our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day accounting matters, coordinating the month-end closing process, and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accounting department priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Coach and train a team of accountants to improve efficiency and maintain accuracy.
• Ensure accurate reporting of revenue, expense, and balance sheet according to GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including auditing, billing functions and maintaining the general ledger.
• Utilize MRI and Yardi for effective management of accounting functions.
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is required.
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Auditing skills are a necessary part of the job.
• Must have experience with Billing Functions.
• Proficiency in maintaining the General Ledger is required.
• Experience with MRI is necessary.
