JOB REQUIREMENTS: What you will do The Environmental, Health and Safety
(EHS) Manager will plan, champion and implement EHS programs across the
Largo facility to ensure regulatory compliance and an accident-free work
environment for the organization. As a leader at the facility, the EHS
Manager is expected to support safety transformation and projects. THIS
POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VISA SPONSORSHIP. How you will do it Plan
and implement EHS policies, procedures and programs in compliance with
local, state and federal rules and regulations along with Corporate,
ISO14001/45001 and JCI Management Systems requirements. Responsible for
the administration, implementation and compliance with the ISO14001 and
45001. Perform and drive job hazard analysis, ergonomic assessments and
risk reduction projects to evaluate and reduce injuries and illnesses.
Immediately contain and report all accidents. Perform a robust incident
investigation process based upon JCI policies and apply a team approach
to engage and advise key stakeholders. Coordinate root-cause
investigation and follow corrective actions through to completion
including tracking timely performance. At least monthly, share status
updates with leadership and employees. Engage, implement and effectively
communicate to plant employees, EHS peers and leadership policies,
procedures, metrics, incidents and best business practices. Ensure
entire management team understands how their activities impact EHS
performance and annually completes management review. Engage the entire
work force both salary and hourly to drive cultural change and
accomplish EHS performance objectives and targets. Implement a thorough
EHS training matrix and ensure ongoing EHS training. Track content and
completion in adherence with regulations and ensure files are always
kept inspection ready. Inspect facilities to detect existing or
potential EHS risks/hazards focusing on life critical programs (LOTO,
Machine Guarding, Electrical, Forklift, Cranes and Hoists, etc.).
Develop risk/hazard prioritization plan, determine corrective or
preventative measures and follow up to ensure measures have been
implemented. Compile and submit all site applicable EHS permits and
reports required by regulatory agencies. Build a compliance calendar and
ensure associated tasks are entered into EHSIS. Review the compliance
