Foods - Growers of Good. The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible
for understanding production methods of various thermally processed
vegetable products, including required in-process, post-process, and
packaging testing methods, auditing in-process and production record
documentation, maintaining all quality system parameters, and assist in
training employees to perform such tests per prescribed procedures
uniformly to ensure product manufactured meets or exceeds government
regulations and company policies and procedures in a fast paced food
production facility. The salary range for this role is: \$62,987 -
\$103,906. Responsibilities: Ensure product safety through development,
review, and enforcement of company policy. Ensure compliance with local,
state, federal and corporate food safety regulatory standards. Review
and enforce company quality standards provided by facility, regional and
corporate quality authorities. Maintain the quality standards set by Del
Monte Foods, Inc. Monitoring manufacturing procedures to assure
compliance to company specifications and state regulatory standards.
Audit sanitation GMP procedures to assure product is not adulterated.
Audit finished good handling, storage, and shipments to assure company
and regulatory compliance. Ensure raw materials received, and inspected
for compliance with company and regulatory standards. Assisting in
regulatory inspections by federal and state inspectors (e.g. USDA, FDA,
...) as well as third party inspections (e.g. Kosher, Co-packers,
BRC...) Assists in maintaining plant recall program and leading food
safety & HACCP teams. Provide technical aid to production/management to
resolve manufacturing problems or implementing new procedures or
parameters. Properly isolate & sample all non-conforming raw
materials/finished goods. Recommend dispositions on non-conforming raw
