Job Summary
Responsible to provide clerical/reception support for clinical care of patients on designated unit.
Primarily works in the inpatient nursing departments of Med/Surg and Women's Center, but will cross-train to the Emergency Department
Performs blood glucose test, accurately and timely, including point-of-care (POC) documentation for defined quality controls.
Maintains accurate and concise records, documenting promptly all pertinent information in the patient’s EMR.
Responsible for preparation of rooms for admissions, return from surgery/transfers, and transportation of patients throughout the facility.
Provides patients with dietary needs such as calling for meal selection; tray set-up and assistance with feeding.
Provides ADLs for patients, including bed linen changes and maintaining clean, orderly patient rooms.
A sincere desire to provide the highest quality of care for patients.
The ability to provide care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with your team.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Must be 16 years of age.
BLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
MN CNA and CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.
Work Schedule
Night Shifts: 7:00pm-7:30am; 48 hours every 2 weeks
Every third weekend
2 holidays per year
Occasional call time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
