Administrative Assistant , Matagami , Quebec

When you join our team as a Administrative Assistant , you will be reporting to the Mill Manager and responsible for providing administrative support to departments, production and management.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle internal and external customer calls

  • Prepare and place orders for stationery, coffee and other items as required

  • Organize parcel deliveries and postal deliveries, as well as mail distribution

  • Format and revise presentations and memos

  • Filing and archiving of files

  • Provide administrative support for internal management and the administrative office

  • Plan and organize meetings and events (social committee), taking charge of logistics (meetings, committees, training, travel)

  • Support Human Resources activities related to employee payroll, and other required administrative tasks

  • Support data entry, report creation and follow-up for Health & Safety and Human Resources departments

  • Perform any other similar or general tasks related to the job

What You Offer

  • Vocational diploma or college degree in office/secretarial studies with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role

  • Administrative support experience in Human resources or Health and Safety will be considered an asset

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the Internet

  • Fluency in spoken and written French; knowledge of English is a strong asset

  • Ability to organize and manage priorities

  • Responsible and autonomous

  • Thorough and results-oriented

  • Customer-oriented

  • Thoroughness, professional ethics and confidentiality
