The Quality Control Inspector, at Croft, LLC, will monitor assigned departments within the plant for quality of all components, sub assembly, final assembly, packaging, and finished products. This includes checking products from assigned areas in the warehouse. This will include moderate troubleshooting when problems arise with products. The inspector will be under the direct supervision of the quality control manager or the assistant quality control manager.
Qualifications:
· Must learn extensive product knowledge of different series of windows.
· Must be capable of completing daily written reports and various special reports as needed.
· Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, electronic & manual scales, micrometer, verniers and capable of understanding blue prints or have the willingness and ability to learn.
· Will work in all areas of the plant performing quality control duties as assigned.
· Must be able to learn quality control test in accordance with ASTM standards using the necessary equipment, calculate and document results.
· Must be able to relate and get along well with others and able to follow directions as instructed.
