Troubleshoot maintenance problems involving electrical, mechanical, and equipment repair or replacement. Support engineering activities as assigned by the supervising Engineering Manager. Identify opportunities for improvement, or new technologies for the current process by creating performance reports for the Engineering Manager. May add input into packaging, material flow, or logistics of material flow. Help develop plans to increase through-put, or reduce cost in machine reliability, capacity utilization. Assist in the installation of new automated manufacturing and facilities equipment. Develop engineering solutions to eliminate repetitive equipment/process failures. Work in continuous improvement efforts for machine capacity utilization. Help define equipment requirements, TPM components, modification, and common components. Assist engineers and managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines. Provide assistance to Engineering Manager and maintenance engineers regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. Complete reports documenting work performed to ensure the Engineering Manager can delegate updated tasks and assignments for production. Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts to supervision Engineering Manager.
Requirement
: Associates degree or equivalent in Industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in mass production and maintenance metrics (Mean Time Between Failures), labor hours, Total Productive Maintenance implementation, and equipment maintenance through corrective and preventative engineering tactics.
