Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process, to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure alignment with product requirements and quality standards.

  • Provide detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and evaluation of components, assemblies, and systems.

  • Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed.

  • Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implement corrective actions.

  • Set up or build special test panels to facilitate testing and/or evaluation as needed.

  • Perform internal audits based on established criteria and record the results.

  • Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.

  • Ability to follow detailed job instructions and apply a systematic Quality Assurance approach.

  • Skilled at measuring and using test equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Proficiency in computer skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Experience with silicone, rubber, and extrusion processes.

  • Capability of identifying and independently resolving routine issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in in-process inspection.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McMinnville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.98 - $24.25/hr.
