Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Process Analyst will use process mapping and business process reengineering to contribute to the development, implementation and sustainment of process solutions. In this role, you will transform project objectives into operational improvement initiatives and work to achieve process excellency of the end-to-end business processes by collecting the requirements, analysis, and value opportunity identification with quantitative analysis using tools such as spreadsheets, process data mining, analytics, and other advanced technologies in driving the process management activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with key teams to drive process stabilization and optimization initiatives

  • Work with business stakeholders and process Champions (RPC’s) to identify process improvement solutions and collaborate with the team to implement and support innovation in process design and metrics that result on improved business outcomes in effectiveness, efficiency and cost.

  • Lead and collaborate to support change to ensure medium to high-risk solutions are implemented successfully including current state processes mapping, data collection, analysis and reporting.

  • Provide expert level support as a consultant for related initiatives and create process documentation including workflows and support materials.

  • Collect and document business requirements for process improvement projects, conduct meetings, research processes, collect data, analyze information and perform related tasks to handle process optimization change.

  • Track incidents/inconsistencies and report to the business and/or BPM office.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience, with proficiency with Process Data Mining (Celonis or equivalent), Data & Analytics for ERP and Non-ERP integrated data sources (CPD, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and experience collaborating across functions to drive process enhancements.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated effective systematic problem-solving experience including incident management, strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify performance gaps and root causes

  • Knowledge of business process modeling notations

  • Understanding of how enterprise resource planning, business process management, customer relationship management and business intelligence tools operate

  • Continuous improvement methodology and skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing organizational change and process optimization

  • Knowledge of implementation strategy and approach to ensure minimal impact to the business and end users
