The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We’re looking for a casual Kitchen Steward to help our chefs during busy periods at the hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
● Cleaning and sterilising dishes, cooking equipment, countertops, floors and work areas
● Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
● Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
● Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes
● Assisting with incoming deliveries to the kitchen when required
What we need from you:
● Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward is an advantage
● Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines
● Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a team
● Strength, as you'll need to lift, push and pull incoming orders and objects up to 23 kg
● Have the legal right to work in Australia
