Treasury Wine Estates National Account Executive in Melbourne, Australia

About the role

Reporting to the National Account Manager for Coles Liquor Group, this role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of the Penfolds strategy across Coles Liquor Group’s banners. You will assist both the Head of Nationals and the National Account Manager, focusing on maintaining business analytics, promotional modelling, forecasting and allocation, activation planning, promotional programs, and channel communication and execution.

  • Drive volume, revenue, and profit with Coles Liquor Group (CLG) through collaborative plans that foster long-term business growth and sustainable relationships.

  • Develop and lead an 18-month planning cycle, including the creation of promotional programs that align with Penfolds National Brand Plans and CLG-specific needs.

  • Oversee all aspects of the Penfolds wine portfolio within CLG, ensuring data integrity and stock requirements are met according to plans.

  • Manage customer P&L, provide analytical support for investment plans, and ensure compliance with trading terms and campaigns.

  • Lead the forecast collaboration process with customers, manage trade spend and forecast updates, and communicate performance results to internal stakeholders.

About you

We are searching for a strategic thinker with a strong customer mindset and a proven track record in National/Key Account Management in FMCG. You excel in dynamic environments and are adept at managing complex customer relationships.

  • Proven ability to deliver on customer needs within company strategy

  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience with demanding customers

  • Strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in promotional and financial management tools (e.g., promax), Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI

  • Wine sales experience would be beneficial
