Formula for Success
In this important role as Head of Environment, Health & Safety - ANZ, you’ll be responsible for the management of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, including the requirements of Responsible Care Systems and regulatory compliance in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll create and maintain awareness of Responsible Care® and EHS within the organisation, providing independent expert advice on performance and compliance.
You’ll:
Lead and develop the EHS team, corporate EHS systems and processes for BASF Australia and New Zealand.
Provide Leadership and Management teams with expert advice in relation to the Responsible Care® program and regulatory matters related to EHS.
Develop the product safety processes ensuring timely advice is provided to enable compliant import and export of BASF products.
Facilitate and advise the ANZ Country Incident Management teams in matters related to incident response and crisis management.
Be the designated National Trade Control Officer for BASF Australia and New Zealand.
Ingredients for Success
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate experience in developing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks and processes. You’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, providing meaningful advice and recommendations.
You’ll:
Hold a tertiary level Safety and Environmental qualification.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ANZ EHS regulations and legislative requirements.
Experience leading change management programs to develop a safety culture.
Experience with relationship management of regulators and industry bodies.
An understanding of the Chemical industry or product safety preferred.
