Description We are providing an opportunity to a detail-oriented individual to join us as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves the accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining their credit records, and managing their credit accounts. This is a contract employment opportunity where the individual will be working in a team to ensure the smooth functioning of the financial aspect of our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately post and allocate payment and refunds to customer accounts
• Maintain and balance customer account balances and perform general ledger hygiene
• Manage an order queue, resolving customer orders with payment issues and collecting payments when customers are past due or over their Credit Limit
• Accurately process and underwrite new account openings, set up and initial orders
• Pursue overdue debt via email or phone, remanding uncollectible accounts to collections
• Utilize Microsoft Excel on a daily basis to generate financial reports
• Apply skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Payment Processing
• Work outside of normal hours once a month
• Perform other duties as required and assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing procedures
• Ability to handle Cash Applications
• Knowledge of Cash Collections processes
• Expertise in Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of SAP software
• Experience in Payment Processing.
