Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

The Associate Instrument Servicing Technician is a member of a team that supports the servicing and routine maintenance on surgical instruments by performing repair procedures and testing to ensure instruments comply with drawing and manufacturing requirements; documenting servicing activities, as well as executing packing, labeling and inventory transactions.

Required Skills / Capabilities

  • Possesses good verbal interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing -preferred

  • Basic proficiency with MS office software, management software and ability to navigating the internet.

  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, iso 13485

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires less than a year of related experience - Preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Travel and/or Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation. May be required to operate a powered industrial truck and perform role related tasks while elevated 25 feet or higher.

For roles that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).
