Job Title: Cable Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team for an expansion and new building project. The ideal candidate will have experience pulling low voltage cables and a solid understanding of cat5 and cat6 cabling.
Responsibilities
Set up and pull low voltage cables.
Utilize basic knowledge of hand and power tools to complete tasks.
Ensure the proper installation and maintenance of cat5 and cat6 cables.
Work effectively on an active construction site while maintaining safety standards.
Essential Skills
Experience with low voltage wiring.
Knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cabling.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Understanding of construction blueprints.
Experience with fire alarm systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with construction blueprints and fire alarm systems.

Work Environment
Work on an active construction site with a focus on safety. Provided safety gear includes a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. Contractors must bring their own safety boots and vest.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
