Do you thrive on building and maintaining robust defenses against ever-evolving cyber threats?
We're looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our client's team and be a key player in safeguarding our organization's data, systems, and networks! You'll develop, implement, and manage our security infrastructure, ensuring its effectiveness against emerging attacks.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and deploy security solutions to protect our IT infrastructure.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify and remediate system weaknesses.
Implement and maintain security controls like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption.
Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents.
Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to maintain best practices.
Stay up to date on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security solutions.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure a comprehensive security posture.
Document security processes and procedures.
Generate reports and presentations on security findings and recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role.
Strong understanding of security principles, network security, and system administration.
Proven experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
